On a journey around the world with my husband. Been on the road since December 2006...don't know when we'll stop. It's a big world out there.

Why I travel

To learn more about the world, people, but also myself. Sounds cheesy, but personal growth and travel are closely related in my book.

Travel style

with a backpack, but I'm a bit older than the average backpacker. I try to understand a place and its people by first checking out the food markets, traveling by public transport and just being open and approachable.
