i visit your Images seems very nice and make me crazy to look in Live Where is such beautiful mountains ?
I saw your comment in the story about places to visit in 2010 about trying to attend the World Cup, and am of the same mindset. I love soccer (football) and would be in heaven attending the World Cup as a reporter (I used to be a sports reporter at a newspaper) or a spectator. In what capacity are you trying to attend?
Thanks for the encouragement and the warm welcome, Ross! I really appreciate your kind words. I like your profile as well; it's inspiring to be able to peek into the life of someone who's pursuing their dreams. Good luck in all of your travels!
Profile Full Bio
About me
I am extremely lucky to have my friends and family. They make my life fun and interesting and they've all taught me something. I believe in fun and I'm going to try to have lots of it before my time is up. Life is too short to sit inside and watch TV. The more I travel, the more I want to explore.
Why I travel
In a quest to become ever less-ignorant.
Travel style
Good friends in small numbers. Off the beaten path with local people. Taking risks makes good stories.
Ideal place to watch the sunset
In the Serengety
Ideal place to watch the sunrise
4 hrs into the climb up a big mountain
Before I die I'd like to
Own small houses in 4 countries, climb El Cap, ski Alaska, sail the Swahili coast from Mombasa to Cape Town, learn Portuguese, French and Italian, watch my little sisters take the world by storm, raise amazing kids, become a grandfather.
I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when
Eating tortilla espanola with my host family in Madrid, drinking mate with my friends in Argentina, and going to cheer for the Boca Juniors in La Bonbonera en la Boca, BsAs.
Let's collaborate
If you're a writer, photographer, filmmaker, artist or a social entrepreneur, or if you just have a story to tell, reach out to our team at Matador! We want to hear from you!

Checking in from Antananarivo, Madagascar. Fucking MISSION getting down here. 4 flights, combining for 32 long hours on the plane.
Was welcomed to the capital city by some SHADY ass customs agents who held my passport and bag for 3 hrs till I paid them off with a whopping ten dollar...

Despite all the hype about Colombia being a dangerous, violent place, the only time my life felt threatened was on the roads. Colombia is a very mountainous country and thus, has thousands of miles of curvy mountain roads. The drivers of big rigs, oversized buses and normal cars and trucks are...

Seconds after NY won the Superbowl and I published my first blog from Colombia, Matt dragged me away from my laptop. I had been convinced by the Bogota crew, that it was too risky to take on the rest of the trip up north (something I would almost instantly regret). I didn`t even have time to...
