Jonesing for a new trip. The next big one will be South America. Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Venequela, Peru...wherever my feet take me

About me:

I love to be goofy. My big thing is to remain childlike in my outlook on life, and continue to be amazed by something someone else may take as trivial. I appreciate the little things while aspire for greatness. But not on a famous level, on an internal level that helps me to find contention with myself and in turn with those around me. I love to laugh, and find more and more that I am a simple pleasures, easily entertained individual...I also laugh when I'm nervous too.

I'm fired up on:

I love love love photography and am in the works of starting my own company. I shoot anything and everything but if I could I'd shoot while incorportaing travel forever. I really enjoy being around a lot of people and laughing. And my biggest thing I could do for hours...people watching. My stepfather once asked me if it was a sign of retardation but I think it's a sign of genius-being able to just sit and watch the organicness of it all. I especially like to watch those I know when they don't know and are in their own element (not in a freaky, I'm staring at you through your bedroom window way) because it allows me the time to see them for all the reasons I love, admire and appreciate everything they are in my life. They can't hide who they are...the ego is gone.

Tunes I rock out to:

I listen to anything and everything-generic, I know. When I need a boost of energy I'll throw on some punky shit that gets my heart racing...when I am emotional I'll turn on something I can sing my guts out to..when I'm happy I turn on something I feel is so beautiful I can feel inside of me

Travel style:

travel is a journey from start to finish. I'm the type that has an idea of where I'm going but nothing is set in stone and there is no such thing as an itinerary. I'll carry my pack (not only cause I love it and I consider part of my family) because I still love to rough it. I may not enjoy every moment of it but in retrospect I'll be glad I rolled that way. If I hear of something I'll try it out but I like knowing that routine is out the window, because my life here is SO routine. I like to be with one or two other people but love to meet new people and get spurts of crews here and there.

Why I travel:

So I never feel like I know it all. So I stay aware of how big and small the world can be. I travel because just knowing it's out there isn't enough, I want to see it, smell it, taste it, live it

Mt. Tam, Turtle Mt in SF, Paihea NZ, Koh Tao Thailand, Santa Barbara CA

Before I die I'd like to:

have children, find someone to live the rest of the life with and know we'll always share fun, love and laughter together. Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Fuji, some part of the Andes, visit the amazon, sleep under the stars in the outback, touch down on Antarctica to be able to claim all seven continents, live on a boat for as much or as little time as possible, get back to Vietnam and India...keep a steady pace between countries I've visited and years I am in age
