Began my travels abroad at age 17,hitchhiking through Mexico and Guatemala,as far as the Mayan ruins of Copan inside Honduras.With no papers of any sort,no money,no Spanish and no dictionary!You want to talk adventure?Close calls,sketchy moments?1977 Guatemala? Survived,caught the travel bug hard and so it goes,with over a decade of my life spent in Chiapas Mexico and Guatemala mainly.I also lived for several years in Quebec Canada and a year or so in the black forest in Germany.As of now,i've been living in Southern Arizona for nearly a decade, working for the past several years as manager at a homeless shelter,as well as Silversmithing and performing with my band La Mezcla which is a latin fusion thing i put together back in 2005.In the next year or so,i will begin the next phase of travel,although in many ways,i suppose i never stopped.(It's all a trip anyway,right?)I have always had a hunger to see South America,but Chiapas and Guatemala kept stopping me....There are so many incredible places,that it's way too easy to just hang out and chill.Then before you know it...Not this time!
