Internet censorship in China affecting travel blogging?

What's the story with blogging within China? I've reading that all blogging sites are blocked in China so you can't log in to blog whilst over there. Is that true in HK too?Email blogging? Do you know any blogging sites that work in China? Any ideas of how to deal with this?
