I'm a 26 year old graduate student. I used to be a student at Notre Dame before I decided to put graduate school on hold to come to Bangladesh to try and make a difference. I was inspired by the 2006 Notre Dame Forum on Global Health. At that forum I got to hear and meet Dr. Jeffrey Sachs - author of the book "The End of Poverty". He argues that extreme global poverty can be ended in our lifetime. I'm hoping I can inspire others to believe that is possible.
