Favorite places I've been: The thing about being a traveller is that it comes from deep within; I have loved every single place I have visited because I'm always in awe of being able to sample new destinations ... but I do have a particular love for Kyoto, Japan, the Rockies in Canada and quiet, unspoilt corners of Greece and Spain.
Places I want to go to: Africa, Alaska, Russia, Mongolia ... oh and just about anywhere else I get the opportunity to visit!
About me: I am Alice, part of the Family Smudge, who sold up and checked out of life in a UK city back in Feb 2008. Since then we've been travelling Europe in our camper and have volunteered on a horse farm in SW France, picked olives in Extremadura, Spain, lived for 4 months in a rural village in the Andalucian mountains and lived/worked at a vegetarian hotel and restaurant in Normandy, France. Currently we're preparing to hit the road again and travel the North West coast of Spain and the spectacular green heart of Portugal - leaving mid-May 2009.
