hi

You were the second person to respond to my setting up a profile! So I wanted to make sure you know that I've published my first ever travel article. I'm really excited that it got posted to the home page of matadornetwork.com. Please read the article

http://www.bravenewtraveler.com/2009/06/16/close-encounters-reconnecting-to-animals-through-our-primitive-nature/

please send it around to anyone who you think may be interested

and please please if you have a response, post it under "comments" where the article is. I'm going to pitch to the editors an idea for a series, so readers responses and support will make a big difference.

Thanks!
Azriel

The cube is awful! I am so delighted that I found this site because it now takes up 90% of my day in the cube. It is refreshing to see the tales of those out there making it happen!

wow. the comment you left me is way more flattering after reading your profile... "Go ahead and call me sentimental if you must, but I will always prefer the Def Leppard videos where the drummer still had both of his arms." Now I know I cant give you total credit for that but I just can't stop laughing.

"Yeah, nothing says good time like a giant Polish salt mine" if I had a nickel for every time I heard that...

No worries at all on the movie recommendation...in fact, I'm kinda dying to get some feedback on it...others have expressed interest in it too, but can't seem to find access to it. It only seems to be available in the UK and Australia, which is a shame. Not sure why this hasn't made the rounds more, it's an amazing show...and I only hope that eventually it gets more exposure.

Tonight I watched Star Trek in Cahors, France. I was the only person in the theatre during the 18:30 showing. 18:30 means 6:30pm. The film was overdubbed. I do not speak French. Here is my summation of the plot of this fine film:

A big, squidlike clams ship tries to eat another ship that looks...

I have only been in love once. I am talking about the kind of love that dazes your days and smacks you like a UFO sighting. Overpowering, crushing, kneedropping, how-did-this-happen-to-me love.

I met Dan through a 14.4 dialup modem in 1996. It was a challenge to access the World Wide Web in those days,...

Patterson:

3 days ago I projectile vomited from an auto rickshaw in Varanasi, India, on the way to the train station. This was after a week of flights from Vermont to Chicago to Colorado to New York to Brussels to New Delhi to Kathmandu.  The night train from Varanasi to Calcutta was only...
