About me:
I was lucky enough a job as a staff journalist straight out of university, which sated my writing urges but kept me from exploring my travel ones. So after four years I elected to leave the land Down Under and set out to explore the world. The length of the trip and the destination were up in the air and have never really hit the ground. I've now been out of Oz for almost three years and I now stop talking about my "trip", rather "my crazy life". I'm now teaching english in Southern Germany and taking every oppotunity I can to keep seeing new things and meeting new people.

Hey man!

Just joined the site and I'm glad to see there is another adopted Bavarian spreading the love! Your website is looking good, if you end up doing a section on excursions from Munich then I'd be more than happy to provide a write up/some photos of Passau and the Bavarian Forest. Plus if you're ever in the area and in need of a mass, just give me a mail.. :-)

Peace,

Ro

I'm working on a new project: My own website all about Munich and Bavaria. It's a lot of fun and very time consuming, and I'd be interested to know what anyone at Maatdor thinks of my efforts so far!

It's at www.destination-munich.com

Keep it real,

Stuart

You walk through the gates and see a line of knights.  Looks like they’re getting ready for something, maybe a fight?  Then you shuffle along to find a place for the parade: fire-eaters,  freaks on stilts, looks like anything goes here! You watch a medieval rock concert while...
