Stellenbosch is often a place where 60-somethings come to do their wine tours, but after living and studying here for almost 5 months now, it has a great scene for younger generations as well. Expect a college-town vibe on one side of town and a ritzy, touristy vibe on the other. Both are cool, and both are affordable if you're coming from the states.
