Most of my traveling had been done backpack style. Now I tend to stay at cool little hotels with character.

I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when:

Having the wonderful experience of spending a few days in a village in Irian Jaya. I slept on the ground in the men's hut, and joined in on a 3 day celebration. Passed on wearing a gourd though.

To experience new things and expand my horizons.
