I love to write (find me at NO SAINTS IN LA - http://www.nosaintsinla.blogspot.com), read, research, laugh, do some serious traveling, work hard, play rough, get dirty and try to learn and understand other cultures. I've succeeded in learning conversational French (although my husband speaks it - so I'm trying) and trying to learn Japanese. I'm an artist (more like an illustrator, as I use ink most of the time). I ceaselessly look for adventure fiction and enjoy the creativity and imagination of The Phantom Tollbooth, The City of Dreaming Books and The Well of Lost Plots. I am an identical twin, who shares a deep bond with my sister and have never been too far from that girl, with the exception of a few years in hot Miami Beach. I graduated college, got married and moved across the U.S., traveling it by car (coast to coast) twice in two years. I love to snowboard and find the local coffee shops when I travel. I don't think I will ever travel enough, but I love having a home to come home to. I need to get out more and I need someone who can teach me kite surfing.
