Just love living life to the fullest. Whether it's backpacking in the Lost Coast, diving in Australia, partying all night during Jazzfest or indulging in food and wine in Italy, there's no in between with me. I have a wonderful travel companion in my wife, and an incredible network of friends now dotting the globe.

I'm fired up on:

When I'm in between trips (like now), I love to cook, and am an avid food and wine fan. When the winter rolls in I leave the friendly confines of San Francisco regularly to head to the mountains of Tahoe, and during the summer I love to play ultimate. I'm also a huge music fan- going to Jazzfest in New Orleans five years ago absolutely changed my life. Living in San Francisco gives me the opportunity to see more music than I have the time or money for.

Tunes I rock out to:

Music is a must! During our last three month trip, my wife and I brought a mini-speaker set with us, and every place we landed felt a little more "ours". Love brass, and love New Orleans funk- Rebirth Brass Band, Bonerama, Anders Osborne, The Meters, Papa Grows Funk, Widespread Panic.....

Travel style:

I like having a ticket there and back, a few recommendations, and my backpack. Let everything else be part of the adventure.
