I'm a graduate of UC Davis. I went on two study abroad programs- one to Cuzco, Peru, and the other to Havana, Cuba. I have spent a good deal of the year trying (miserably) to speak Spanish.

I also enjoy telling bad jokes.
What happened to the cat after she ate a ball of yarn? She had mittens!
Did you hear about the peanut that went through a walk in a bad neighborhood? He was assaulted!
What do you call a piano falling down a mine shaft? A flat minor.

ps. just flipped through those pictures of Cuba. Really cool.

I haven't really seen many pictures from there, and for some reason I felt like I was looking at classified info, something very top secret, or playboy. like i shouldn't even be looking at them..

Hope to see more.

You WROTE:
I met one of you guys when I was in Lima in July, staying at the Hostel El Patio. Someone had just lost their passport at Macchu Picchu. Trouble is I can't remember which one it was and I'm far way from the business card that you left me.

I was reading through your comment on the "About US" page thinking you had met Ben or Ross in July, and then I started thinking to myself: "Hey, I was in Cuzco, Machu Picchu and Lima in July.. and MY friend lost her passport in July too.. I have business cards.. " Then: "HOLY SHIT!! that was ME!"

Great to see you up on Matador! (Sorry to disappoint, but you did not in fact meet one of the co-founders, but rather, the traveling dude who works for Matador kinda and doles out business cards.) very disappointing.. I know.

Hope your trip in Peru was fun!!

The words “The End of the World” were engraved on the backs of my eyelids. I was so nervous. I never thought South Sacramento could be so damn far away. After being dropped of by the parents, I met up with Ashley to get a ride to Fresno. Her brother got into the driver’s seat.
“You wanna get...
