Planning to go to Dubai, UAE, and Abu Dhabi...as well as Oman, and Qatar, at the same time. Tour India... Train from Singapore to Bangkok....Explore Taiwan, Japan, Korea....Myanmar...Israel, Egypt...History with eyes open in Greece, Italy, France, Spain...The pyramids of Egypt, through Sudan, Botswana and Safari in South Africa...oh coffee in Kenya...the Mountains in Sri Lanka, Beaches and markets in Indonesia....the Pacific Fiji, Samoa, Tonga....then over to Hawaii, Art and Museums and Back Packing in New York City.... singing in Jamaica, Cuba, Peurto Rico....learning to dance and coffee in Brazil and Columbia...ok there's more! But I need to start dreaming and work so I can go! The Road to Damascus...if that is possible.

I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when:

i am the only english girl in the room, market or train, and everyone is speaking in ways I cannot understand and yet i still get it in my heart. the unfamiliar yet i feel at home.

Why I travel:

to see more. to be more. to live more. to learn more. and to write more.

Ideal place to watch the sunrise:

by the lagoon in rarotongan, sifting through the sand and looking out into the pacific.

Ideal place to watch the sunset:

from the mountains in the philippines, cool breeze after the heat-soaked day

Before I die I'd like to:

walk through more places than i've seen in picture books. have written in cafes and in locale in places i couldn't have even dreamed of. to learn hindi, tagalog (more), spanish, and malay!
