Woo hoo, another runner! How do you pull it off traveling? I have run everywhere, from Bolivian riverbeds to Chinese overpasses to Mexican deserts...once you're an addict you can't really stop. Do you take your shoes and sports bras and stuff everywhere like I do? And does it give you no shame at all to be seen running through the jungle at 6 a.m. by the locals? Then we have something in common already...

You should check out Turner--he's another Matador member with a major running addiction. He's run several marathons and has a blog about running in Japan.

I love that the climate here allows me to keep the doors and windows open all night long, so it doesn't get stuffy and there's never a need to turn on the air conditioner.  The only trouble is the roosters that live behind our building, and the dogs that run wild all night long.
