Favorite places I've been: From 1975 to present I have traveled to over 57 countries. Of those some of my favorite places are Machu Picchu, Petra, Pyramids of Egypt, Kruger National Park, Sahara desert, Victoria Falls, Borneo, Grand Canyon, Amazon River, Nile River, Burundi, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, China, Japan and many more.
Places I want to go to: Hawaii, Solomon Islands, Amalfi Coast, Scotland, Dubai, Silk Road, Antartica and anywhere else I haven't been yet.
About me: I am an Adult Educator at a Government College. I am married with two girls the eldest is married and lives in Japan and the youngest is in her final year of Zoology. My husband is in sales and also an avid traveler. I am currently setting up a travel information web site for the over 50's which will cover everything you need to know about travel. I love to travel and want to pass on my experience to others. My husband and I traveled overland from Australia to England during the 70's with a backpack. We traveled through countries like Afghanistan, Iran, Israel. It took a year. My husband and I kept a diary of our travels and I am currently putting them together as stories. We try to go overseas every one to two years to somewhere different. We also have a caravan which we use for short trips away.
