About me:

Such a big question! I'm a 30 year old male going through quite a life transition. I like to play, be with my friends and connect with nature. I've been a committed grassroots activist leader of the past 10 years, and things are starting to shift for me. The past three years have been a challening time of much healing and growth. I feel like I'm coming out of a big storm, and feel excited to take on this world in a new, more grounded, emotional, spiritual and loving way.

Travel style:

Depends. Visiting family in Israel is very different than a spontaneous trip on my own to Maui. I like to have some sense of the place I'm going to, and then mainly go with my gut once I get there. Spend alone time exploring and meet up with other people to explore together.

I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when:

At a bar with my Spanish friend and four of his female friends. I learned more Spanish playing cards that night than the rest of my life combined.

Why I travel:

Explore, learn about other cultures, gain new perspectives, take a break from my day to day, connect with my strength, resourcefulness and sense of adventure.

Ideal place to watch the sunrise:

I rarely rise that early! The dessert outside Phoenix was nice. I've heard watching it come up from Israel over the Dead Sea is stunning.

Ideal place to watch the sunset:

Israel, as the sun sinks into the Mediteranean. No doubt.

Before I die I'd like to:

Reach a place of deep inner peace, security, and love for myself and all beings. Resolve old hurts and conflicts. Travel so many more places. Have children I think? Help change the world in a big way.
