Barcelona, Berlin, and Budapest...apparently I have a thing for the letter "B." Oh, and Galicia (northwest Spain) is probably one of the coolest things to have happened to the planet earth. I loved Italy as well, but I want to see more of her!

Russia, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Iran, Greece, Turkey, Japan, China, Vietnam, and India. And everywhere in between.

About me:

In a future life I hope to be a Russian ballerina. In this life, my aspirations include achieving fluency in at least 5 languages, mastering the art of Italian cooking, and learning to dance hip-hop.

Writing poetry, writing anything, collaborative projects, theater, dancing to fast music, large picnics, and Spanish wine.

The Faint, !!!, M.I.A., Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Feist, Chin Up Chin Up, Peaches, and Jeff Buckley.

Travel style:

I like to travel with one companion, and with luggage that's easy to carry. Also, a book, music, and writing utensils are all I need to keep myself occupied for a long while.

Trains are lovely.

I want to make a difference by:

Constantly learning, as well as working alongside all the creators and artists I know to achieve common goals.

Spanish, Italian, German (some)

I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when:

I used the colloquial (and vulgar) Spanish expression "de puta madre" in conversation and it felt completely natural. That's when I knew I had become fully acclimated to Madrileño-speak.

Why I travel:

To remind myself that the big things are made up of so many different small things.

Ideal place to watch the sunrise:

On a farm in Asturias.

Ideal place to watch the sunset:

Somewhere along the Californian coast, preferably Big Sur.

Before I die I'd like to:

Open a bookstore-slash-disco in a big city.
