About me: 
In November 2003 I got in my car and headed south to Mexico. I spent 6 months traveling all over Mexico and eventually made it to Costa Rica. I sold my car and bought a one way ticket to Bogotá, Colombia and now live here. In Late 2004 I started a business call Bilingual Marketing Group. hey, I know jetblue has a great rate for flights to Bogoto. I would like to take advanage of that. Think you could give me a few pointers on how to get around and stay out of trouble. Who to trust and not trust. From one Californian to another Californian.

how's it going? sooo, i am pondering hitting up bogota for a few days around late september/early october. have any tips for a solo traveler who doesn't quite speak the language looking for a good hostel recommendation or sound advice i should know about the culture?
