About me:

Married to a Japanese professional photographer, I am a freelance writer/translator and model, soul surfer and love to travel. My parents traveled to 60 countries before their divorce, inspiring me to get out and see the world.

I have been surfing since I was 12 years old, live in a quaint Surfing Village in East Japan, and travel the country with my husband working for surfing magazines and companies.

I also have a translation/travel agent business called PPJ Translations, connecting overseas travel businesses with the media in Japan.

My husband, professional photographer Kuni Takanami, and I set off to India for 1 month earlier this year....our story and photos are featured in this month's issue of BLUE magazine, 26 pages and the cover. All in Japanese, but we hope to release it in English later...
