I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when:

In the nursing home that I volunteered at in Costa Rica, and we were celebrating 3 birthdays all around 85 and we danced to Shakira with the oldies. Probably one of my happiest moments.

Why I travel:

To keep my spirit alive and free, to meet new and interesting people, and to experience life in more ways than one.
