Everywhere - I want to travel to as many places around the world as possible, experience as many cultures as I can.

About me:

It would be impossible for me to describe myself in such a limited amount of space. I am a myriad of contradictions, a seeker of truth, a bit dramatic, a little crazy, hopelessly in love with poetry, and I could probably go on forever and the description would never end as I am constantly growing, evolving, learning new things about myself.

I'm fired up on:

Writing, reading, of course traveling - basically anything that inspires my creativity.

I like a wide variety of music -- jazz, r&b, rock, hip hop, alternative, Brazilian,
Salsa, neo-soul -- whatever speaks to me, feels like home

alone, with no expectations, a loose set of plans, eternal optimism

Who I'd like to meet on my travels:

Johnny Depp. But realistically, anyone that I can learn something from, whose presence will in open me to something new whether it be large or small, internally or externally.

I have a chance to live it daily

Why I travel:

Because I have an unquenching curiosity; because I want my world to be limitless; because there's this thing that trembles within me, perhaps it is passion, or a sense of wonder, that screams to be fed with travel, new experiences, and it is never silent.

Ideal place to watch the sunrise:

Near the taxi stand in Chania, Crete, following an endless night of serving drinks in a smoke-infested room, the dark night turning into white light.

Simply attempt to make myself proud each day

I'd like to contribute the the Features section, sharing the heart of my experiences (past and future); I would love get involved with a community of people who value the same things about travel, and it seems that Matador is the right place to do that becuase the site's mission is in tune with what I believe.

Hi Crystal, it was nice to meet you and talk about travel and the world and all that good stuff. It's rare to get to do that at a party/club. I hope you had a good time and that you get to make it out to the next event, whenever it may be.
