Places I want to go to:
Somewhere with greenery, open spaces, and rain (I've been in Egypt 3 years). Somewhere alien, and then somewhere familiar. Everywhere.
About me:
Just another lost soul wandering the labyrinths of life. After two years as an adventure travel tour leader in the Middle East, I stumbled into the delicious chaos of Cairo, where I worked for a while as an English teacher and freelance writer. I’m now Managing Editor of a Cairo city guide called The Croc, desperately trying to drag a 200 million year old creature into the 21st Century! I am also NileGuide’s Cairo local expert, and regularly contribute to Trazzler.

Ciao
Dorian

They say that on a clear day you can see the Pyramids from here. But there are few clear days in Cairo, and I no longer bother to look. I’m jammed into the front seat of an ancient black cab, which means there’s no fixed fare. I glance at the driver, sizing him up. Fine cheekbones, button-bright...
