I've been traveling with my family since I was very young. From Disney World, to St. Lucia, to London, to Italy & France, to Lebanon (my father is Lebanese) my experiences traveling with my mom, dad and sister got increasingly exotic and impacting as I grew (Lebanon in particular). In 2006 I went to China (Beijing, Qingdao, Suzhou & Shanghai) as well as Tibet (Lhasa) with the Scholar Laureate Program. My experiences in China were, of course, incredible especially because it was one of my first traveling experiences detached from my family.

Last summer, I left for Europe July 5th and backpacked through Europe for 2 months. This trip made me realize what it meant to be alive and since returning I've realized that whether or not I get back to those places exactly, I need to get back to that mentality, that freedom, that lifestyle.
