What ideas or places should I definitely visit when I'm in Venice and Florence? I am going to Venice in February for the Carnivale and then going to Florence afterwards. Any suggestions on where to go, where to stay and local venues not tourist spots. I'm trying to avoid anything touristy. Thanks.
