I'm fired up on:

I am passionate about maternal child health, writing, belly and salsa dancing, photography, cooking for lots of people, coffee in the morning, midwives, sunsets, new languages, feminism, the poor, life itself and all its blessings!!

Tunes I rock out to:

damien rice is imperative for all airport waiting b/c it allows me to be pensive and journal, country music for road tripping the US, techno, salsa and manele (traditional Romanian tunes) for discovering urban adventures

Backpacking, inexpenisve, mostly non touristy locations, living in hostels, experiencing day to day life

I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when:

everyone around me is comfortable speaking another language and I soak up every second.... listening for cadence, rhythm and inflection instead of comprehension.

Why I travel:

I want to understand people, learn cultures, speak new languages, challenge myself, grow, change......
