I'm live San Francisco, a truly great city. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 2006 with a degree in Film & Media Studies. Two of my greatest loves are wine and film. I'm not a wine snob but am kind of a film snob.
I'm currently saving my pennies in order to take off for at least a year in 2013. If I'm not gone by then, please shake me and ask "What gives, Marissa?"

Good wine, local festivals, pretending I can speak French well, jazz, blues, classic rock, watching the same Christopher Guest and Woody Allen movies over and over again, and spending time with my friends.

Travel style:

Sometimes solo, sometimes with others, sometimes active, sometimes lazy, always happy to be doing it (even during the bad moments like when your bag falls down a sewage drain on the side of the road in Switzerland). Honestly, I haven't traveled much but I can't wait to get out there again.
