About me: Allison McDonell Page conquered ice in Stowe, Vermont, powder in Cortina, Italy, and vertical in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She taught the hokey pokey to a Nomadic tribe in the Kenyan desert, got altitude sickness at the top of Mt. Kenya, and performed "Vanities" in front of 1000 drunk people at a dinner theater in Seattle, WA. She got to use those internal heart paddles on a gunshot victim during her stint on a soap opera, and got her face slashed by the rope she was attempting to ski under in Zermatt, Switzerland. Allison grew up in New York City and studied Anthropology at Harvard. She has not skied ice since. Married to resident writer, David T. Page, and a mother of two, Allison now lives in Mammoth Lakes, CA where she teaches skiing.
