About me:

I am an avid fan of travel... That's an understatement. My life is defined by the places I go, experiences I have, and how I can relate them not only to the world but by the effect they have on me. I have been constantly pursuing my passion for travel for the last several years, from Flight Attendant to backpacker to web developer for an airline and finally to marketer for a tour company.. and I am still not traveling enough. Ahh!

Travel style:

I want to try traveling alone, but since I stopped my short gig as a flight attendant, it hasn't happened. I pretty much like traveling with anyone, as long as they're not too picky and not too indecisive. I've been an excellent prepared traveler, researching and organizing everything and having a fantastic trip, and I've also been a very lacks traveler, arriving in a country with no clue how to get around or where to stay. I enjoy both, although the later is infinitely more stressful.

I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when:

I met some random guys in Italy when I was backpacking with my sister and they came over to the apartment we were renting, cooked dinner for us, and took us out dancing. It was such a blast.
or... the week my sister and I spent in England with our British friends. They were such NICE and FUN people. Those were the days. I wish I could go back and relive them!

Why I travel:

It's an art. It makes me feel alive and inspired.

Ideal place to watch the sunrise:

I woke my boyfriend from his sleep and we quickly hopped in his pickup truck. As the sun was rising we sped east on highway 10, came to a river on that crisp fall morning near Seguin, TX and watched the glory of a new day.

Ideal place to watch the sunset:

Texas has the most beautiful sunsets. The wide open plains of Kruger National Park on safari was breathtaking, and of course, over the ocean in Puerto Rico.

Before I die I'd like to:

do way too many things to think about or list here (so I will only do a couple).
- write a book
- see as many countries as possible
- find sustainable happiness
