I'm happy to recommend fantastic places to eat and visit anywhere in Northern California, from Mendocino to Tahoe. I've got a ton of fave restaurants and lots of great wineries to recommend - and not necessarly the ones you'll find in the guide books. I'm also well-connected within the Burning Man and DJ communities in SF so I can tell you about any late night destinations in the city.

Uganda, Kenya, Barcelona, Greek Islands, Cinque Terre, New Zealand, Australia, Paris, Pompeii, London, Amsterdam. Just returned from Hong Kong - not my favorite but interesting.

Places I want to go to:

All over Asia, especially Japan, South America, Eastern Europe, back to different parts of Africa, anywhere fabulous and interesting!!!

I want to make a difference by:

Hosting events that encourage people to become activists in politics and environmentalism. My dream is to one day open an ecotourism retreat with environmental education, yoga & meditation, a sustainable kitchen with lessons on slow food and much more!

I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when:

I was helping build a fuel efficient stove with mud bricks in a small village of Uganda. The women were so thankful they made us a huge meal of local vegetables, grains and eggs from their henhouse. I'm sure they couldn't afford it but we relished every bite.

Why I travel:

I love adventure, taking risks, and new and exciting experiences. Life is all about the journey!!!
