About me:
I am a triple-time Emmy-award winning writer/producer for ABC7 in Chicago. I produce a weekly entertainment/lifestyles/travel show (www.190north.com). Well, I did. After fifteen years in Television, I took a 'sabbatical' of sorts and just completed of a solo journey around the world. I have documented my trip with photographs and articles from the road/train tracks/rickshaw/camel.

Over the last several months, I took Spanish and surfing lessons in Costa Rica, rode through the narrow fjords and icy glaciers of the Chilean Patagonia, hiked up a snowy volcano in Ecuador, swam with dolphins off the coast of New Zealand, served up coffee and sandwiches at a café in Melbourne, climbed high atop the Harbour Bridge in Sydney, sand-boarded the dunes of Dubai and successfully accomplished a two-week bicycle tour through the rice fields Vietnam. I have written about the adventures that have ensued as I schlepped through the world on my website: www.LLworldtour.com. My website has had more than 60,000 hits, I have more than 100 subscribers and I am excited to have friends and fans all over the world. A few newspaper articles have been written about me and some of my articles are now published on www.gonomad.com, www.thesavvygal.com, and www.bootsnall.com. I’m also currently working with Smithsonian Magazine on some travel articles and photographs.
