I hit the "career wall" in August of 07. My lifelong dreams are to re-invent myself as a writer (I'm half way through my first novel, "Shooting Stars."; to travel as often as I want and to anyplace that I want to travel to (just got back from my three week trip to the New England coast) and to live at the beach (east coast or west. I'm not picky).. I'm making those dreams come true.

I've lived in Southern California for almost 30 years and I never met a beach that I didn't like. My favorite Southern California beaches include Seal Beach, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Carlsbad and La Jolla. I'm all about the beach and I'm all about saving money. DH loves the saving money part but we also like super expensive places (best used for lunch or for a cocktail). If you need recommendations on hotels, restaurants, or things to do, I'd love to share my favorites with you.
