I'm also an aspiring writer. I dig fiction, but I'm a firm believer that the best stories are true.

I like collecting maps of places I've been, especially ones I've used and marked with esoteric scribblings. I love to kayak and swim and when I'm not listening to music, I enjoy attempting to make it, though it sometimes turns out better than others. I'm also and avid doodler and I try to read a lot when I can find time.

It's true, I shouldn't vow to never return somewhere. I never thought I'd wind up living in Spain and going back to some of the places I went in Europe as a 17 year old. Such is life. Thanks for the comments man!

haha, Glad you liked my pictures, Justin :) And for the record - I was just pretending to drink from the big serving glass. And you've been to some great places yourself... what are you doing in Taiwan?

Hey -

Pitch me an article idea for www.bravenewtraveler.com if you have the time and inclination - $20 per post on an aspect of travel - can be a how to, a meditation on the morality of roadtrips, a pro and cons of traveling with a girlfriend piece - whatever you want to write - just take a look at the guidelines and article archive first!

As I plunged into a dreamless sleep, I wondered if we’d really make our flight in the morning. We quit drinking sometime early in the a.m. when the bar cut us...
