About me: I never would have believed I'd be in New York City or that I'd be loving it as I do! I don't plan on staying for long which makes getting down and dirty with NYC just another life adventure. It took me a good deal of wandering after accomplishing a pretty big life goal to figure out what would come next. Leave time to wander! What happens to any of us after we accomplish what we set out to do? We find ourselves back at the begining, a little older and wiser, and if we're smart we recognize that reinvention is a daily endeavor. I strive to live by the quote "you must sacrafice what you are for what you could become." Life in New York City has led me to Africa to work with children, to speak about these children to the U.N. and the World Urban Forum, as well as to work in Rio de Janeiro, and Beijing to understand and spread the Olympic values of humanity, peace and healthy competition.
The best piece of advice I've received to date: "Leave enough room in your life for good things to happen to you!"
