My connection with Taiwan can be traced generations up my family lineage. Since my infant years, I have been going back to visit the island every few years. From 2005-2007 I lived in Taipei, discovering and quickly falling in love with all the city had to offer. I can make restaurant recommendations, tell you about the hottest nightclubs, give you directions to temples, and help you through a pet adoption process. Living in Taipei was an amazing experience for me and I'd love to answer any questions you may have about the city.

yup. but i am pretty americanized by now. my family lives in germany (cept me and my brother, he lives in the cities) ... we're all meeting up this week outside of LA for thanksgiving with my nephew. i will be in the Bay area in a week for a few days then back to Portland. Doing the coastal run via Amtrak. if yer near the Bay we should link up and get some fish tacos.

well, besides being a known fool, i am also constantly semi-broke. But the guide has forgiven me and the mountains, coasts and eats aint going nowhere ... so i will have another chance. you're taiwanese? but living in ....?

man. i had a chance to be in taiwan this september with a beautiful guide the whole way up and down the coasts into the mtns ... i done lost out this time around, but i have another chance next february. i will check in again with you round that time for some expert info.

Ya, I was in Hualien. Nice little town. Ate a lot of local food. And, even visited the Taroko Gorge. Magnificent Place!! It really make me feel that we are just so tiny on this earth. And, see what the mother nature can do.

And, if you ever drop by in NZ or Malaysia, just drop me a msg, maybe we can meet up for a cuppa or something...

Arrr...So, have you actually traveled Taiwan? I was just there recently in April. Wonderful place. And so beautiful too. I really dont mind heading back to Taiwan again soon.

About my RTW in 2011, i cant wait, i cant wait... =)

I'm heading to NZ next Feb, to continue my studies. So, once I'm finished. I'm off!! =) Really hope it will go as smooth as I plan.

Anyway, i hope you will be doing yours too real soon. When the urge is there. I really think that its the best time to go.
