I'm in the middle of taking a 12 month break from my 'normal' job. The first six months was spent working for the Australian Antarctic Division at Casey Station in Antartica - what an experience!!! My next trip is to the African continent - Egypt and South Africa. I'll be working on a volunteer project in South Africa for 2 1/2 months - an adventure I am really looking forward to. I love travelling, experiencing new things and challenging myself - forcing myself to do something out of the ordinary. I want to learn about the world and the people in it. I want to really 'live' and the best way I can think of to do that is to get out and 'experience' life.
