About me: We, Joshua, a traveling nomadic Australian born in Bangladesh and Carol, an equally nomadic Hong Konger, will attempt to break the world record for the fastest time around the world by tandem bicycle, beginning in mid-April and ending in mid-November. We aim to arouse awareness about the need for cleaner transportation, as well as encourage those with disabilities to live life without reservations despite their physical conditions (Carol has an impairment on the left side of her body due to an accident at birth). Another unique aspect of this journey is the fact that we are both from different cultural backgrounds, and we hope this will encourage greater racial integration and understanding.
