I was born in a log cabin on the back side of a lake in Canada with no electricity or running water. My first memories are of carrying buckets of water with my dad, trapping turtles, fishing, and playing in the forest. My first meat was bear through a baby food grinder. I did not attend third or eighth grade because we were traveling central America. I got married too young to my knight in shining armor and we've spent the last 15 years growing up together. The result: four kids and a powerful wanderlust. Two years ago we quit our six figure job, sold our house and almost all our stuff and hit the road... we spent a year cycling through Europe and N. Africa... now we're on the road full time as a life style... currently on Cape Cod, headed for Central America... we home school the elves...what better way to learn than to walk through the world for a while? I do educational consulting and curriculum design for families that home school, and I write. I must write to keep breathing.
