Staying in motion is always good. And never doing anything that's not a challenge. Travel is supposed to be about pushing yourself to see what you can do when you don't have any other choice. If things go badly, tough, you have to deal with it, but how well you handle it is the big question. Travel is a great chance to look back on something and say, "Hey, I did that. And if I did that, then I can definitely do this next thing I thought was going to be hard." What's the purpose of laying on a blanket and sitting in the sun? Rest? Maybe for a second, but that shouldn't be the end product. I'll rest when I'm dead.
