About me:
I'm travelling the world on an 6 year gap year (so far), learning about its languages and customs and about myself along the way. Luckily I managed to get work as a freelance translator, and this gives me more time, money and freedom (Internet based work) to pursue my life's passions, while trying to live in the world's coolest cities. I'm also currently trying to perfect my already spoken languages and to make a blog and video documentary about my travels in each one of those languages. You can see how that's going so far and find out more about my journey and how I've learned these languages at fluentin3months.com.

After learning 6 languages to fluency in 6 years of travels, and learning to speak Czech in just two months (and of course, blogging about how I did it!), it’s time that to go on to the next level in language learning!
I think that I may finally be ready for the greatest challenge I’ve ever...

I was blogging about how not drinking has actually helped me learn languages when I travel, and it got me wondering if there are many others out there like me who know how to have fun without beer's permission? I go out all the time and am the craziest in the group running on nothing more but Orange...

I think it can be done!! :)

I have been travelling for 7 years and have become fluent in Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, Esperanto, and Irish Gaelic. Each one took time and effort, especially since I am not naturally talented with languages (I actually studied electronic engineering).

But...
