About me:
I'm travelling the world on an 6 year gap year (so far), learning about its languages and customs and about myself along the way. Luckily I managed to get work as a freelance translator, and this gives me more time, money and freedom (Internet based work) to pursue my life's passions, while trying to live in the world's coolest cities. I'm also currently trying to perfect my already spoken languages and to make a blog and video documentary about my travels in each one of those languages. You can see how that's going so far and find out more about my journey at irishpolyglot.com.

will rely on pockets from now on. thanks for that:)

I think it can be done!! :)

I have been travelling for 7 years and have become fluent in Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, Esperanto, and Irish Gaelic. Each one took time and effort, especially since I am not naturally talented with languages (I actually studied electronic engineering).

For the last week in August, this normally barren desert is occupied by 50,000 people for the “Burning Man” event. It’s very difficult to describe what the event is about, but hopefully this short video will give you a slight idea!
