It's funny you want to go to Japan. I love the Americas as well and have traveled across South America and lived (on and off) in Mexico for the last several years, and I had a strange desire to go to Japan as well.

I just spent three months teaching here (in Nagoya, Japan) and loved it. I'm leaving for Mexico on Monday, but I'd love to come back to Japan someday.

Interesting fact for today.....did you know that one of the most popular items sold by Mexgrocer.com is Coca-Cola? Apparently, Mexican Coke is different because it's made with cane sugar and many Americans are happy to pay that little bit extra for its unique taste. Maybe it's no surprise then...

According to a new report in the USA, Mexican food has become a mainstay of the American diet and is hardly considered an ethnic cuisine anymore. It certainly throws up some interesting ideas about the meaning of 'ethnic food'.
