Since a child, Melinda was fascinated with all those places you couldn't go to as an American so naturally, she was drawn to Eastern Europe. Cut to many years later when she also developed an interest in (recreational) pole dancing, which, by a twist of fate (or the miracle of YouTube) led her to Croatia. She taught a class, made some wonderful friends, and couldn't wait to go back. She's traveled throughout Croatia and Slovenia and finds this region as beautiful as it is fascinating.
