I have studied and worked in Italy for two years. I've lived in Torino and Florence and have traveled most of the country. My favorite locations in Italy are Rome, Florence, Lucca, Cique Terre, Almafi Coast, Torino, Venice, The lakes, Lecce and Viareggio. My Italian knowledge lies in things to do, soccer, biking in Tuscany, a couple good spots to eat, transportation, smaller villages off the beaten path, language, and overall culture.

La isla de Coiba, Bocas(Panama), Torino, Vernazza, Venice(Italy), Santori(Greece) Maastricht(Netherlands), Canet, Tariffa(Spain), Lost Coast California,

Places I want to go to:

Japan, Argentina, Australia, Scandinavia, Russia, UAE, Egypt, South Africa, the list goes on.... Basically any new and intriguing location where I have time, money, a backpack full of essentials.

I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when:

Definitely... it would have to be arguing about fulbol with the locals (in any country) and telling them all about the dominance of Juventus, Chelsea and the whole Italian National team. Drinks usually help the conversation!!!

Why I travel:

That is a good question...... I'd say it keeps me on my toes!!!

Island of Coiba of the Panamanian Pacific coast while preparing for a 12 day of fishing

Ideal place to watch the sunset:

Santorini, Greece, on a motorino above the cliffs looking over the Mediterranean and white and baby blue greek masonry.

Before I die I'd like to:

Spend a month on a mountain bike or motor bike in every continent except the Antarctica...
