I love to keep up with daily world events and give my opinion. Currently I'm in the running for a columnist freelance position with an up and coming (and cutting edge) website (I'll share with everyone later). I get very passionate about progressive issues

I can get stuck in the 80s quite easily...EXPOSE!!! Madonna, Janet Jackson, ah..so many good ones! Fall Out Boy is a bit more hip for today. But, I'd have to say anything house/techno gets me moving quickly...DJ Antoine Clamaran (Paris), DJ Sister Bliss (UK) and many other international house spinners!

I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when:

I lived in France for two years. I lived in a french dorm and interacted daily with my 'housemates.' The slang and expressions I learned during that experience catapulted my language skills to something I could have never expected!

Why I travel:

There's always something to learn and see that help you approach life differently.

I would love to contribute thoughts/ideas regarding my travels in the form of articles/letters. Hopefully those out there looking for new adventures or to quell fear (for first time travelers) will calm their nerves after reading my experiences and hearing my advice.
