I'm just your average world traveler who's pursued every opportunity to experience a new place. As a first generation American born to a Brazilian mother and a Ukrainian father, I've had exposure to other cultures, languages and countries since I was born. My first trip to Brazil sparked a travel bug in me that still lives almost 30 years later. I've been fortunate that my work has taken me to many places - I spent five years living and working in Turkey, which is probably my favorite place in the world, and the home country of my wonderful husband.
