Places I want to go to:

southern Italy, Santorini in Greek Islands,south east England. I am planning a year at least of work and travel in Europe as well as some time in USA seeing Sedona, Santa Fe and Oregon to visit my son who will be going to university there.Want to go to dance camps for dances of peace all over the world. Turkey, Morrocco, Syria, Jordan would like to see with companions.

I am interested and practice all aspects of health and healing,spirtuality from the heart..not channelled or psychic . Love doing dances of universal peace.nature, photography, travel,meeting people from all walks of life. have raised 3 kids and have 4 international flat mates at a time to pay my mortgage. Am selling up next year to go wandering the world. I was married for 21 years to a kiwi and have lived in NZ longer than USA. Lived in England for over 4 years and loved it. I have a degree in social work and have a diploma in aromatherapy.I am a sagitarius. I dont drink or do any drugs and enjoy the simple pleasures of living.

I'm fired up on:

I am alwasy working on my inner self and am presently writing cards to organize much of the knowledge that has worked well for me over time. Love doing retreats for meditation, dances of peace, love free dancing to world music, travelling to new places and meeting aware, spirtually minded caring people who I can be totally honest with. i love astrology, nimerology, aura soma color therapy and understanding what makes people tick.

Travel style:

I am independent and have travelled by myself maily because I cannot find anyone to go with me. Am a budget minded person who stays in backpackers and likes to meet the locals and other travellers. I like understanding the history of a place, going to cathedrals, castles, any real estate interests me, like trying the foods and being part of the local customs and traditions. I like a bit of a destination in mind with openess to changing spontaneously and not being locked into a tight schedule.I want to spend a longer time in places now and do work exchange to be able to soak up the atmosphere.

only school years of French, Spanish and a year of German...not very good.

I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when:

I am with a family who invites me to share in their every day life with a meal or celebrating a holiday or spirtttual tradition.

Why I travel:

It keeps me in the present and in my heart enjoying every moment fully as I know I may never pass that way again. I love seeing new places and meeting people different than me, experiencing new traditions, foods. I love the old places that have such stories to tell. It makes me feel really alive and feeds my soul with the beauty of life in all its forms.

Ideal place to watch the sunrise:

Out in nature in a warm but not overly hot climate

Ideal place to watch the sunset:

by the ocean or some form of water. Best sunset has been in Egypt

Before I die I'd like to:

Experience as much of the world as possible, feel that I have helped others to have a better life, contributed to making the world a more peaceful place by my presence and publish my cards to help others. Would also like to live in a small type of community with likeminded souls.

I would be interested in meeting up with other travellers who may want to do work from the helpx website that gets you work in exchange for free board . I want to work exchange in Italy mainly and England. I would like to see Syria, Jordan with someone else.
