Favorite places I've been: Hmmm...there is so many to choose from! Well, for starters, Tokyo will always be my third home (aside from the U.S. and Mexico being my first two). Having lived in Tokyo for more than one year and living with the best host family, the memories of my time there will always hold near and dear to my heart. Aside from Japan, my next favourite place would be Sydney, Melbourne and all the bush walking I did in between. Third would have to be Hong Kong and overlooking the city atop Dragon's Back.
Places I want to go to: Hands down, that would be Europe! I've traveled Asia, Oceania and North America but yet have visited the Continent. First on my list would be Barcelona, then Paris, then Stockholm...the list goes on and on! But the one thing I really, really, really want to do is to rent an old skool Mini Cooper and drive through the French countryside and go wine tasting and eat lots and lots of awesome cheese! That and stuffing my face full of yummy, calorie-heavy yet amazing pastries at a Paris bistro whilst sipping on a nicely brewed espresso.
About me: Having picked up the art of travel from my father, I consider myself a travel hound and have visited many places throughout the past few years. Studying abroad in Tokyo catapulted my desire to visit different places to experience, learn and appreciate cultures, customs and best of all, good eats!
After being in the automotive industry for the past eight years, and having worked as a Public Relations guy for the past four years, I recently left the field to pursuit one of my passions in life - traveling. So, after years of writing press releases, talking to the media, getting to talk shop about my other passion (cars!), I now get to sit back and enjoy life.
