Backcountry skiing in Sonora Pass area, Paddling in Central and South America as well as skiing, Southeast Asia basically everywhere I haven't been which is....the rest of the world

About me:

I am a recent graduate of UC Berkeley and am currently pursuing a career in Outlaw Athletics. I work at a high school on Treasure Island for at risk youth of San Francisco and during the summer teach whitewater kayaking. For the first time in my life I am not playing rugby and am looking forward to skiing as much as possible and having freeeee weekends! There is nothing I love more than being outside doing any number of things from whitewater kayaking to backcountry skiing with good friends...laughing hard the whole time.....being an outlaw

I'm fired up on:

I'm fired up on screaming down a mountain and powder face shots. I am fired up seeing the look on people's faces when they finally understand how to enter or exit an eddy in a whitewater kayak. Live music, bourbon, grilled cheese sandos with avo on top, taco trucks, seeing new far away places...meeting folks along the way...the journey....outlaw athletics

Tunes I rock out to:

too much to list cuz I like everything from avant garde funk jazz like Garag A Trois to hardcore like Bane and everything in between. Some favorites include Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan, My Morning Jacket, Flaming Lips, the Allman Brothers, Mr. Marley of course, Miles Davis and the rest of the crew, Outkasts, Yo Yo Ma, Manu Chao....I seriously could write 50 pages about the music I like.

Travel style:

I like to travel light. By myself is the fastest and most worry free but traveling with good like minded folks is always a bonus and very fun.

Stinson Beach CA or Fraser Island Australia after a long beach trek

Before I die I'd like to:

too many goals...paddle the Grand Canyon, climb some 14ers, heli ski in Alaska, backpack Patagonia, paddle the Mekong Delta, thru-hike the PCT and the CDT

Anyone who loathes the NYE high expectation shenannigans as much as I do will enjoy this. Luckily this year I didn't give in to some lame house party with goody bags and headache food.
