Everywhere! After I return to England and gain some transferable skills (canoe instructor), I want to patter a footloose path across the globe...Cycle down through England to Spain and see where that takes me. I like to travel alone, always, although I promised my Mum that one day, we'd go hiking in the Himalayas together...

About me:

I graduated from university and left for Mexico...I extended my ticket once to stay here an extra couple of months...and I want to again...it's my first time traveling alone and I have been waiting for years to do this

I'm fired up on:

spinning fire (poi), cooking veggie food, meditation, reading, art, poetry, talking and walking, sustainability and permaculture, drinking coffee in Mexico, beautiful insanity..

Tunes I rock out to:

I like the screaming girls, Kimya Dawson, Regina Spektor (etc)to dance around the kitchen to and regain my femininity when I lose it (i.e when I get accused of being a boy)..
I like tribal, trancey music to stomp around in the dust and the mud to with my friends..
I like classical music to play loudly when it rains outside.
I like Otis Redding, The Beatles, The Cranberries, The Byrds, Infected Mushroom...
Jeffrey Lewis is one of my favourites...when I listen to him I feel as if my best friend is whispering life secrets right next to my ear.

Travel style:

I go off on tangents...my route is never linear...I hemorrhage possessions, my phone, credit card,camera, clothes....Imeet and fall in love with beautiful crazy people, then I'm gone...and I WWOOF (sustainable farms)

I want to make a difference by:

going 'off the grid' (a phrase that, for some reason, grates upon me), becoming self-sustainable, becoming a non-for profit charity writer/photographer...and rocking the world with the amazing novels I have yet to write.

intoxicated jibber jabber, bad french, better Spanish

I felt the most immersed in a foreign culture when:

I don't talk to anyone in my first language for days at a time...

Why I travel:

Why would you work a nine to five job in a country that rained every other day and had Boris Johnson as mayor of London when you could fall in love with amazing people, spin fire in the jungle, learn a new language...etc etc

Before I die I'd like to:

feel completely satisfied, as if I've accomplished everything....

Trying to become a travel writer...
